Some Sketches of Idea

One special thing of our location is that there are a lot of insect mounds, and under the ground, there are actually tunnels that connect each mound.

My ides is to look from different perspectives (change of perspective), and try building the tunnels over the ground, as if we are looking from insects' perspective.

This is a maquette I made out of paper and tape.

Location

Below are some photos of our location

Our location is basically three trees with a great variety of other plants. This area is next to the tennis court, in front of the forest. Its surrounding has a conflicting combination of manmade structures and nature.

Response to the word "birth"

This is our visual response to the word "Birth"

We decided to film in front of the water because people tend to wash the baby gently when it was new born. The green leaves in the student's hand represents spring - the season that all the flowers start to blossom and trees start to grow, as if they started a new life.
